Looking for that new Bome figure or the latest manga.
Look no further.

This thread lists online and offline stores.

http://www.herobuilders.co.za/

A large online selection of anime related goodies.
From accessories to figures.  Prices are looking good and with support it can only get better.

http://www.figurefanatix.co.za/

A well known name in the SA anime world.
Now with their new store in Cape Town in the Montague area, it has been made a Factory Store and that means  low, low prices.

http://www.awx.co.za/shop/cat/t/Home.html

A household name in South African anime homes.
Everything and anything is available here at great prices.
They also stock a select number of pre-owned items for the budget concious.

http://www.digitalsushi.co.za/

A new kid on the block so to speak!
A large variety of stock, from board games to anime to model kits and that is what caught my eye - Gundam Model Kits for R120.
They are running a promotion on some of their items...so log on and get shopping!

Feel free to list your favourite online or offline store and let us know if there are any promotions running.

Readers Den now has an online shopping facility.
They stock a large amount of manga and will order back issues and rare volumes upon request.
They provide instore pickup as well as national delivery via courier.

My name is GrahamZA and I am the owner of Digital Sushi.

Digital Sushi’s focus is on geeky and hobby type products. We have a wide range, including Gundam model kits, anime DVDs, board games, living card games, Warhammer and more. Each week we add more and more products to the website in order to offer more to our customers.

We take part in organising board gaming events, so keep a look out for any announcements.

If there are any products, related to our ranges, that you are looking for then please contact us.

Great list! I usually import all my anime-related stuff, so this will be very useful in future.

It's not a local resource, but I think Amazon.co.uk is worth a mention as they're offering free shipping to South Africa on all orders over £25 until May 15 - this applies to all DVDs and books, so it's a good opportunity to stock up on anime and manga without having to fork out on exorbitant shipping costs.

Or you can do what I've been doing lately - go to www.take2.co.za - search under MoreUSA and MoreUK in the Toys category for eg. OnePiece and see what they can bring in for you from Amazon. Prices are sometimes retarded, sometimes bargains, so its worth a look.

Take2 atleast cuts down on shipping costs as it imports everything itself and only charges local shipping.

Just updating to mention that Amazon.co.uk have extended the free shipping offer until August 15. Clearly it's a conspiracy to plunge me into total bankruptcy...

Not as far as I know... I usually use either Hobby Link Japan, AmiAmi or Hobby Search for figures, though they're unfortunately not local.

Yes alot, but you may find for some items that it's not sold directly by Amazon but rather other companies which sell on Amazon (such as Toynami), so buying from them may disqualify you for the free delivery of items over 25 pounds.

I had a look at what Digital Sushi have to offer... especially since they advertised in the anime mag.
I am quite impressed, its new I will concede that but don't be fooled- I browsed the site and saw some impressive stuff there... now only if I had lots of cash to spend :(

Digitalsushi has the best stock of Gunpla in SA! :D
They could do with a bit of an anime injection though, although i hear they working on it.

Prices at Hero Builders look good. Has anyone bought a shirt from them, how is the quality? Also as anyone outside of cape town ordered stuff, how much do they charge for delivery?
