Movie reviews (general conversation)

Jay - can I ask you to figure out how to get my review in with this one.
Should someone start a new topic as a movie or music review we need to keep it clean and reviews together.
Dontcha think?

Communities tend to be guided less than individuals by conscience and a sense of responsibility. How much misery does this fact cause mankind! It is the source of wars and every kind of oppression, which fill the earth with pain, sighs and bitterness. (Albert Einstein, 1934)

Your title is more fitting.

Trying to merge topics but it keeps asking for topic ID... :-[

EDIT:
Randomly punching in numbers from 1 - 27 basically did the trick.

Still we should try and figure out what the correct way is to do this...

I've just done a merge with no issues. Instead of trying to punch in message ID, look lower on the screen. There you will see a list of all the topics in the selected board. Simply click the icon on the left of the topic you are trying to merge into. The reason why punching the topic ID in isn't working is because I've added a SEO-friendly URL mod, which is rewriting our board and thread titles, thus losing the topic ID functionality.

Sorry, I come late to this, but wouldn't it be better to have a movie subforum (also books, etc. as subforums) rather than thread. So, if one is looking for an opinion on a particular movie, you go to the subforum, rather than searching a thread.

And then, would it be possible to have posts/threads in such a subforum arranged alphabetically by movie title?

Sub-forums a good idea. Will do when back at pc. Not sure if alpha is possible- will investigate

Alright folks - click on "Automatic index" on the menu bar. I can't show these posts alphabetically, but you can index both the movie and the music boards to get an alphabetical view.
