For all those interested in the subject of photography.
Feel free to post your own photographs here as well.

I'm going to start by providing a link to the CapeTownDaily photography blog.

It was started fairly recently by someone I know very well.
It's basically a compendium of daily photographs taken of Cape Town, it's people and other interesting things in the city.

The photographer in question just returned from a 10 day stint with "Die Burger" newspaper attending the KKNK festival at Oudtshoorn as one of their official photographers and had 3 front page photos on the daily "Krit" newspaper which covered the festival, as well as a host of photographs featured in the content as well as in the weekend edition of "Die Burger", so expect some high quality stuff.

Today's photos feature some really stunning early morning scenes with a mist covering Cape Town.

Here's the link:

Shot of a flowering Gerbera Jamesonii (Baberton Daisy) growing in my patio garden.

Communities tend to be guided less than individuals by conscience and a sense of responsibility. How much misery does this fact cause mankind! It is the source of wars and every kind of oppression, which fill the earth with pain, sighs and bitterness. (Albert Einstein, 1934)

Nowhere else in the world will you see this. The old South African Flag,   the new South African flag and the Union Jack blowing peacefully in the   wind. No protests, no riots
