How do you save Flash games from the Web to your computer?
Someone at my school was able to put some Flash games on a USB drive, and play them on the school computers even though the game sites are blocked by the school! How do you do that?

WikiHow has an solution.
Quote
Just got done playing the coolest Flash game ever? Wish you could save it and play it later?

1 First, go to the site you want to save the game from.
2 Now, go to the actual page with the flash game on it.
3 In the toolbar, Click View -> Page Source
4 Hit Ctrl+F and search for ".swf" You will see a URL style link. In this example it says "displayFlash('/D78AQSAKQLQWI9/4217.swf', 600, 300);"
5 Take the "/D78AQSAKQLQWI9/4217.swf" part and put it in the url. Ex: "addictinggames.com/D78AQSAKQLQWI9/4217.swf"
6 Next, Click File in the toolbar then save page as.
7 Save the Game to E:/ drive, or whatever is the drive of your flash drive.
8 Go to your flash drive and open the .swf file in Internet Explorer.

If that doesn't work try the following google search : "save flash games to computer"

That WikiHow solution works - I use that method regularly. Also, there may be more than one .swf object that comes up, especially if the website is a flash-based one like Newgrounds. Normally the game link is distinguishable from other .swf files, as it will contain things like "uploads" or "game" in the file name.
