Since I was a member of your forum (left cause there's really no point- I am not a gamer, nor do I behave like your forum members I do believe I am above the whole lot) I can offer some insight here.
I am sorry to say but that Flamezone thing, was pretty fucked up! And to now make a separate website- geez.... how pathetic... but yes, oh so typically South African..... EPIC FAIL!!!!
I also wish to state that your forum, especially FlameZone, it really made an impression on me as to what kinds of people the South African IT community consists of, the same lot of course, who threaten me on the road when I pull off too slow for their liking. The same lot who the other day tried to fuck me up at the mall 'cause I was apparently staring at him, meantime I was trying to see what fucking cool phone the arsehole had.... 
Many people like to argue "ah but its only the internet" but sorry my friend, there's lines in life you do not cross. You do not insult a bloke's mother, nor do you insult his wife. Both of these took place in your FlameZone, where these so-called "IT Professionals" behaved like fucking baboons and you allowed it. Hate speech is hate speech, no matter how you sugar-coat it. I do not forget shit like that, nor the perpetrators, most of whom I've traced to the employ of some mighty fine ICT companies. I wonder if they behave like that at work? Some are self-employed, and are getting their just deserve as I refuse to do business with them- ask uFis!

I am here, and I am happy here, I contribute to this forum and I get to engage with people who are on the same intellectual level as me, and trust me, we have some pretty smart blokes on this forum, not the l33t type that comes en-masse to your forum

There seem to be a miscommunication here. I am not a part of Evilsod. It's not run by me, owned by me, affiliated with myself or Prophecy or Phforums in any way. There is no connection there at all. The Flame Zone is something that has long gone against my beliefs. When it became a business decision, I could no longer ignore the facts, and we decided to do away with it. This spawned Evilsod, run by Jay, Preacher and that gang. Many of our (phforums) members left for Evilsod, and our forums is a lot quieter than it used to be, but also a lot more relaxed.
With regards to the banning, I can honestly say that I cannot remember banning you (nor can I remember you at all), I'm afraid. We have had VERY few bannings. I would say that, in total, over all the years that I've been running phforums, we probably had 15 odd people banned. This is a thumbsuck, but I can check the stats. We've also migrated three times to other forum software and domain names and such, and each time, all the bannings were reversed, to give each member another chance to be a part of the community. We have a VERY relaxed banning policy. Therefore, if you were banned, you must have caused a lot of issues, or you must have caught us at a bad time (we are human after all). This said, the FZ was always a hidden forum, and access was granted only after it was requested. I've put up as many warnings as I could, and they were always ignored. In the end, if you walk around in Hillbrow at night, you must expect to be mugged. This is the same in FZ. I tend to avoid bad neighbourhoods, and people who don't want to get mugged, should've avoided the FZ.
I hope this explains a bit better where we come from. I'm not expecting you to forget (or to forgive) what happened to you on our forums, and I don't expect you to join our forums because everything is now fine and dandy since the FZ was canned. I also don't expect you to all of a sudden start purchasing from my store for your next upgrade. That is your prerogative.
All I am asking is that you understand that I'm just a normal guy who runs a forum and a shop, and to hold something against me, that happened 4 years ago is probably a little bit over the top though, wouldn't you say? Especially considering that it's something as silly as banning you from an internet forum.
Either way, I just wanted to clear up that Evilsod is not in any way related/affiliated with Prophecy or it's forums, owners or employees. Hope this point was at least brought across well
