User post-moderation:
One of the things that sets Digital Natives apart from other general interest forums in South Africa is our commitment to clear policies, transparency and free speech. So while we will almost never censor or delete posts (read the site policies for more on this), it remains true that some posts are more interesting than others. We therefore encourage users to exercise their vote by clicking the up/down arrows at the top-right of every post, which gives all users some indication of the value of the contribution made by that post, and by extension, that user.

By default, posts that have attracted 5 negative votes are hidden from view, although you can change that default setting in your user profile.

Mobile view:
Users browsing via their mobile phones (or users who are bandwidth-challenged) can view the forum and post using the WAP view. You won't see any pretty pictures, but the site will load super-fast.
